KUCHING: A young man who attempted suicide by jumping off the Santubong Bridge near here about 9.30pm on Sunday night might face legal action.The 30-year-old, believed to be suffering from a broken heart or excessive work pressure, sustained no major injuries. Several fishing enthusiasts witnessed his suicide attempt.

According to the Criminal Procedure Code, suicide is a crime.

Suicide is a crime?! Hahaha. I didn’t know that. I wonder how many people get caught committing it. And oh! the poor fishing enthusiasts.

I think this is the first time I heard someone jumping of a bridge in Kuching.
